Collection: enamel earrings

This line of enamel work began as an attempt to recreate the random and beautiful pattern of inclusions that are often found in stone.  Aqua enamel is applied to a base of luminous black and lines are created using a process called sgraffito, where parts of the top layer are removed to expose the bottom layer. These pieces are set in a prong setting and have brass ear wires, which can be replaced by other ear wires if desired.
