The pivot in my creative life began during the strange isolation and shut down of the pandemic years. After years spent creating imagery for science and medical publications, I longed for something more tactile and personal. I sought the spiritual aspect of this through training as a yoga teacher, while the tactile aspect began through metalsmithing.

Yoga teaches that the third eye (the space between your brows) represents the seat of intuition. This intuition has guided me through this process of change as I develop as a jewelry maker. The medical artist is always a part of this conversation and an undercurrent of Science and Nature often emerge in my work.
