Uterus Cuff 1.0

A brass lattice cuff with sterling silver uterus and bezel set Laboradorite stones.

This piece was inspired by the reversal of Roe versus Wade, which left me shocked and devastated at the prospect of women's health in 2023. The power of the uterus is astounding and apparently causes fear to those who seek to control women's bodies. the silver uterus lies upon a lattice brass cuff, representing a graceful bed of blood vessels. The Laboradorite ovaries are luminescent, like the ovaries themselves. The red of the uterus interior is symbolic of the menstrual cycle and also the violence against womens bodies.
